LIsa Pavelka

Lisa Pavelka has worked as a professional artist for over three decades. She began her art career during a hiatus from producing and directing television programs. 

The intention was to have a creative outlet while being a stay-at-home mother to her children until they reached school age. Instead of returning to television production, interest in her work expanded, taking her in directions she never before considered. Her work came to the attention of creative material companies, publishers and the producers of HGTV’s Carol Duvall show. 

As her children grew older and more independent, Lisa began traveling the world to teach and demonstrate She has written several books on polymer clay art along with dozens of articles and long-standing columns in numerous magazines. Her television appearances also included episodes and features on the Discovery Channel, PBS and the DIY network. 

During this time, Lisa also began developing her signature product line of creative tools and materials. It is currently sold in over 60 countries. Lisa’s work has also been showcased in other author’s books, magazines, catalogs, and corporate collections. It has been collected/

commissioned by celebrities (including Julia Roberts, Bernie Mac, Ben Stein, Siegfried & Roy and the Whitehouse). She has also designed, taught and demonstrated for companies including Swarovski Crystal, Staedtler and Fire Mountain Gems to name a few. Lisa is frequently contracted to give instructional content on YouTube channels and other streaming platforms. 

Most of Lisa’s artwork is one-of-a-kind and features the finest materials such as precious and semi-precious metals, gemstones, Swarovski crystals, individually colored clays and other mediums including her revolutionary UV resin – Magic Glos.™
